# Associated Press reported that their reporter was beaten, pushed on the ground and "stepped on" by uniformed police men.

# Al-Jazeera reported that two of their staff were beaten - Yasir Suleiman, a cameraman, and Nasri Yousif, a soundman. Their camera and tape were confiscated.

# Abir Al-Askary, a reporter of the local Al-Dostour newspaper, said she was detained in a police station (Arabic only) and had her clothes torn and was threaten to be raped for covering the protest. The police men finally throw her in the street insulting, beating and spitting on her. When someone tried to interfere they would tell them that she's being detained for prostitution(!).

# Reuters reported that that the police smashed the camera of a Reuters photographer and pushed and shoved a Reuters TV cameraman, then dragged him on the ground and confiscated his camera.

# A TV Turkish cameraman was reportedly beaten and broke his hand (Arabic only) and had his camera confiscated.

# At least six journalists were reportedly arrested (only two were known to be from Qatar national TV according to Misr Alarabya newspaper (Arabic only))
