Menia, I raise my non-Red Hat.

Body

As usual I woke up late, And I did the ever traditional stupid mistake, Which was to keep doing everything when I wake up in the morning. I slept at 6 am and decided to wake up at 6:40.
OK, Late. Just put the things I remembered in my bag and off to alaa's place.
Train, It was the 1st time I travel by a train. My seat was in another cart. I was playing frozen bubble and then decided to sleep.
Arrived at Menya. And off to Salah Al Deen school which is about 16 kilometers away from the city!.
Alaa introduced me to the teachers and vice verse.
It was nice, Imagine all of the teachers going to the school on their holiday. And the head of the school did the same.
After fixing the Arabic support with Mandrake "The distro I like thus always gives me hard times!" and discovering 2 bugs and after waiting for long to find a car we went to the city again.
FOOD time! I was hungry and I really ate like a donkey!
We walked for a while, We went to an Internet cafe with Asmaa "one of the teachers". The guy was very suspicious and was asking who are us, What we are doing and so!
We went and had a drink, Juice wasn't that good but OK.
Off to mere maid where I had my Nescafe and to "al-dahabeia" which means "the golden".
Both mere maid and dahabeia are ships, But they are tied to the shore, So they don't sail.
Alaa, manal and me went upstairs, Manal and Alaa watched a movie while I tried to concentrate on anything but I wasn't able to. I went down to my room. I spent sometime and slept.

Oh hell! What's all this noise outside! Is it an earthquake ? NO, People woke up And 2 children kept going up and down the stairs with a lot of noise. And it seems they are having their breakfast upstairs.

I wasn't able to sleep and when I did, Manal woke me up!

Breakfast was very good, Explosives! But I liked it!

Now to the university. We are preparing to give a GNU/Linux course there, And what do you know, Everything was smooth and this is really not normal when it comes to our universities.

So we should start from next week. This is nice as I think that I really liked Menia. though we won't be staying for long, We'll take the morning train, Give the course and come back with the afternoon-evening train.
So everything was done and we found someone there who was working with solaris. And is preparing for his masters on XML and so.
Their library contained a php5 book, as well as a book on distributed computing. This was a good thingWe went to one of those stagnant ships which was called "atone" I had my morning Nescafe as it seems that I was sleepy and the morning tea didn't have any effect on me.
We spent there sometime and then we went to search for a small boat per alaa's request, We wanted one covered as I have problems with the sun. We didn't find "I'm sure alaa'll spend the whole night crying ;-)".
Let's go eat ? OK. I ate like a donkey again.
Back to mere maid where we had drinks, To dahabeia to get our things and to the train station as It's supposed to leave at 5:45.
BTW: the distance between mere maid and dahabeia can take less than a minute walking ;-)
So that's it! I'm writing this in the train. Ezabi phoned me a few hours ago and I've told him that I'm not going to port said as I'll be here in Menia for the university. And to be honest, I didn't like the attitude of life makers. My previous experience during my first job lead to this thing though the people are doing good things.
And This is my PERSONAL OPINION and It's not valid for any discussion.
DJ-KING agreed to go with Ezabi to port said for the course when I phoned him. DJ-KING is really a great addition to our team, He never say no when it comes to the LUG despite his endless FUD about himself being the great DJ-KING who can crack your teeth if he decided to blow air at you ;-)
So that's it folks!

I'm dreaming about the day when every house in Egypt submits a bug report or gives a patch to an open source application.
This day is very far and I'm sure I won't live to see it.
