The fact that the Jedi council members are all males based on their alien species standards makes them chauvinists.

Another thing seems that this girl is a sith, her light saber is red....

they don`t accept females that mean there is males and females, what ever as she is may be sith ( i dunno if sith take females or not but they are evil and they could do any thing to increase they power , and as girls are evil i guess they may accpeting girls among them ).
