Tons of trouble.

It started last thursday with my laptop harddisk giving I/O errors, locking read only and SMART sending me alerts.
hmmmmmm, I shut down the laptop, It was 5-6 pm, So I decided to go to alaa. As I used to spend thursday evenings with him.
It seems that the harddrive is really dying, And that the hardware itself is locking read only not Linux.
Toshiba maintenance don't work on friday, During friday and Saturday till 2:30 pm I was trying to recover my data, The damn thing refused to let go my GPG key, Though I was able to get it out at the end along with all of my data.
Now I installed windows using the recovery CDs to satisfy the toshiba people, Whatever I did I was never able to get a windows software to show me that I have a bad sector or harddisk failure, I decided to reformat the harddrive as an ext3 partition and run fsck, And fsck started to show me errors, Now how am I going to explain it ?
I decided that nothing can be done, Went with my father to them, The man there was kind, He asked me for the recovery CDs. He started installing, When he heard the harddrive sound and he said we'll replace the harddrive for you. Unfortunately, You'll have to pay the tax.
For the harddrive and modem "It wasn't working yes" I had to pay 400 LE "1$ ~ 6 LE ?"
So I was supposed to get it back on Sunday, My dad did this for me as I was at work "I don't think I've done anything useful without my laptop", The 1st thing I've done was to trash the windows installation, I spent the whole night restoring my data again.
While I was doing this, We had a problem with apache segfaulting like crazy. We have the LUG elections, Damn!
After a few tests to understand what's happening, Alaa discovered that it might be something related to User Mode Linux "UML", Anyway it's fine since then.
I slept after 4 AM and I was supposed to wake up at 8:30, Which didn't happen and I woke up at 9:30.
Finally, I returned home with a cold.
Alaa phoned me during my way home to tell me that he doesn't have the right book to study from for tomorrow's exam, OK. I'll go home "I wanted to go to the bathroom ;-)", Then go meet someone in maadi, Take the book and go to alaa's to give it to him "~ 40 minutes by car from my home to alaa's". But I love that guy and I won't tell him no. Anyway, He phoned me again to tell me things why he doesn't want the book anymore. I didn't understand well but it's OK! Go home and see what to do with that cold.
Now here's what I've done but DO NOT DO LIKE ME!
I took the maximum dose of clarinase that is suppsed to be taken everyday in 1 single dose, Which is not the Right Thing (tm).
After 12 hours I'll see if I need another dose.
