Jordan: preconference++ and the 1st day.

Nothing serious happened during the rest of yesterday or today.
I slept yesterday, Isam woke me up. I met him in the Lobby, WE talked for a while, We went out. I wanted to exchange 50USD from the hotel, I gave the guy 100USD but he didn't have change, So I didn't exchange any money.
WE went out. He invited me to a dring, A shesha and to dinner, We ate shawerma. It was good!
You can notice that amman is VERY small compared to Cairo, Maybe it's the size of Maadi ;-)
it's 8 squares, WE were in the 4th or 3rd ? We walked until the 1st in a short period of time.
We were talking about GNU/Linux, Arabeyes and many things.

You gotta like Isam, Even after he said that he doesn't like RMS for a personal reason, I guess he gave me an explanation why the saudi guy was treated like this, Perhaps they are fed-up "The Jordanians are fed up" because this is the summer and the saudi guys come here.
To be honest, SA should be erased, Imagine being there, They treat people acc. to their nationalities!!!

ALso He's saying that there are a lot of cars passing, Come on isam! This is not a traffic jam at all, Everything is moving smoothly and fast. He's saying you are saying this because it's 11 pm and you don't know how Amman is supposed to be at 11!

Back to the hotel, I slept, I was never able to wake up at 5 am to have a look at the presentation. I woke up at t:50 or so "perhaps I managed to wake the whole floor at 5 but not me".
Went down to the hall, Met Ms. Rania abu-shukor.

I'm still sleepy, Even after the coffee.
I guess I've spent all the time before my presentation reading what I should say.
I was very frightned when it was y turn. I felt that I'm not OK.

I was talking, In my opinion my presentation wasn't good at all although Basam "One of the guys behind the jo lug and you can easely spot him as a Linux geek" said that it was OK ? Maybe he didn't.
I guess it was somehow technical although I didn't talk about technical details.
I guess I missed many things.

End, Lunch, Bassam thought that I didn't like hommos, I told him 2 things:
1) I don't consider myself as a pure Egyptian, I've spent a lot of time in KSA.
2) I love 3 countries more than Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.

All the freesoft guys went to work, I went up to m room, Slept. I've ever slept like this. Woke up, Isamphoned me, Maybe I'll meet him tonight and maybe I'll go out alone. But not now!
